Fruit Of The Spirit | Part 8
Winston Churchill once said, “The power of man has grown in every sphere except over himself.” That’s still true today. In a world full of quick tempers, emotional outbursts, and reactions instead of restraint, God is calling us to live differently—through self-control, empowered by the Holy Spirit, not just human willpower.
True self-control is about letting God change us from the inside out. As Romans 12:2 (ESV) says,
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind…”
This fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23) takes time to grow and is cultivated daily through surrender. It’s not about trying harder but trusting deeper. When we walk in the Spirit, we can resist temptation with power, not pressure.
